Virtual Spa: One of the busiest spa consultants in the United States. This site was already a full featured site when they asked us to upgrade it to also include job and resume sections as well as some additional features.
Salvy the Florist: This is a full e-commerce florist site that has all of the features of the big flower sites and some neat extras. It has the ability to fill orders in the future, allows customers to track orders as the progress through the florist's shop and delivery. Allows customers to save order or basket information. The florist has a complete back end that allows him to do all of his fulfillment from a web interface (except make the bouquets)!
NMHCC Golf : Far and away the most fun site that I've worked on! This site was a promotional site for a trade show company. We ended up building an interactive golf game that participants could play and win prizes. The game was programmed to allow people to choose a golfer, a hole to play and a caddy. The caddy choice determined the wisecracks you received after a bad shot.
The chances of you winning were based on an algorithm which was weighted for wind, club, distance to the pin and player(male or female).
The actual game itself was made by using real life footage that had been optimized and layed into a cutting edge javascripted game. We wrestled with other options but felt that the javascript gave us the widest possible audience and no need to people get a plug-in.
Handmade By Kristen: This is a small e-commerce site that utilizes an open source shopping cart. We helped a bit with the design and photography as well. Once set up, the client is free to upload new products, change prices and completely control the store from her own web interface.
Ménage Gallery: This is another small e-commerce site that utilizes the osc open source shopping cart. We were called in to do the shopping cart customization and coding for another designer on this project. The client, a custom furniture maker, can now sell his beautiful work all over the world..
Mark C. Smith for Congress: This site was the online home for Mark Smith's congressional campaign in 2002. Mr. Smith was running in Massachusetts' 6th district against a 2 term incumbent. The site needed to be easy to navigate and simple to understand.
1918 News Server: Originally a fan site a few years ago stemming from the Howie Carr radio show in Boston, the site took on a life of it's own. After Entercom Communications legally demanded the old domain (howiecarr.com) the site became a more general site that allows people to post news stories and contibute to a news community.
Children of 9/11: This site went up a few days after the tragedy of September 11th, 2001. It was set up so that various radio and other media companies could all link through one site to help their listeners donate to help the children of the victims.
