1918 Internet Services first came on the scene in 1997. Back then in the early days of the world wide web, 14.4 modems and 14 inch monitors, our work was very limited. We held weekly classes in a basement with 5 pc's hooked up to a single modem and showed people how to browse the web and fetch e-mail.
During the high-flying late 90's everyone was looking to build a web site, or improve the one their nephew had made for them a year before. As the century came to a close our company started to scatter a bit, so we rolled with the times and started working as a distributive workgroup.
With team members in Massachusetts, Washington, California and occasionally Italy, we can handle just about anything.
I moved to North Carolina and started operations on August 1st, 2003.
The name of the company is a reference to the formerly long suffering Boston Red Sox who had been waiting 86 years since they last won the penant.
